Animas: 10'-6" fast kayak. Basically a scaled-up Piedra, or longer, slimmer cousin to RPM and Max. Very fast, surfs long flat waves very well. This example is well-worn and has Jackson rope cleats for backband adjustment. Good for attaining, VA Chute in the low 4's, and possibly races. $300; willing to come down if a racer doesn't grab it quickly.
Encore: OC-1. Picked it up thinking to get into the dark side, never happened and likely never will. It's seen use, lots of scratches (now covered with paint), but nothing really deep or major. Wood thwarts and vinyl gunnels in good shape. Simple foam saddle and thigh straps. Float bags held air last time I checked. $400
Blue Hole Sunburst: OC-1, one of Tom McCloud's boats. Aluminum gunnels and thwarts, old-school foam saddle and thigh straps, no float bags. Bottom has repair and reinforcing but is sound. $200
