We had five boats. Wayne, Gary & Ginny, and Gus. (and me) Well actually we had six at the rendez vous, but one paddler forgot his skirt and so went hiking.
There was a Calleva raft group and an Upward Bound group at the put in. Ran into another Calleva group on the river.
Otherwise pretty uneventful. I did meet a SUP paddler.
Wayne marked me down in the TR evaluation for bad weather as it did rain a little bit from Stubblefield to the Take Out. Although it was clear skies by the time I got home. There was some accident on the beltway so Gary and I diverted to Chain Bridge Rd. The parkway was surprisingly busy at 1:30. Wonder if this will still be true when or if we ever do Little Falls later this summer.
