Lower Yough - 9/7/23
Author Last Post

We had four paddlers on the Lower Yough, which was running at 1.9’, a moderate but enjoyable level. The day got off to an inauspicious start as we ran shuttle during an absolute deluge complete with thunder and lightening. However, by the time we got back to the put-in, the rain had stopped and skies were clearing. It was sunny skies, pleasant temperatures, few other boaters, and smooth and drama free paddling for the remainder of the day. Mark, Sean, David, and Ken were the fortunate boaters who braved the sketchy forecast, all paddling K1s. We were joined by local boaters Chuck (K1) and Mark in a Thrillseeker.
