On Mother's Day Zofia coordinated a trip on NB, joined by Bruce and John E. The group was welcomed by the news that there would be an extra bump in the originally scheduled 1000cfs release to 1250cfs. This added flow made the river pushier. All the rapids were still there - just faster. And added treat was that it was a beautiful sunny day in spite of a cloudy forecast. The group had the river mostly to themselves - the takeout and put-in were virtually empty of vehicles and we saw just one other group of paddlers on the water - probably a Mother's day effect. No mishaps to report.
