With the continuing lack of significant rain, we will again visit the George Washington Canal on Sunday. We will meet at the Violettes Lock parking lot at 9:30 to run the loop trip using the C&O Canal. Please contact me at macinmd1@gmail.com or 443 542 8779 if you wish to join the trip. The Sunday forecasts are a) the Little Falls gauge at 2.9', a reasonably good level, and b) cloudy with a high near 80.


PFDs are required for all. Helmets are required for kayakers using spray skirts and highly recommended for all others. Airbags are strongly encouraged for boats without other means of flotation. If you need safety equipment, please advise the trip coordinator.
