Risa Shimoda will be talking about some of her activities including those with the International Whitewater Hall of Fame. A local paddler is one of the inductees. We also will see a National Paddling Film Fest movie about the Middle Kings River (near Bishop, CA)—an adventure with a snowy hike-in, lots of scouting, portages, and very big drops in a very scenic area. Depending on time, we have additional National Paddling Film Fest movie about the water situation in the West and the various riparian governing authorities.
