Hi everyone. I’m very sorry for the late notice, but tomorrow night (Wednesday 9/3) will be our last Anglers to Lock 10 run of the season. With the days getting shorter it’s getting difficult to do this run and have sufficient play time with the little bit of daylight we get these days. We may run shorter trips on Wednesdays in October, but we’ll play that one by ear.

Tomorrow, we will run usual trip starting from the put in by Old Anglers Inn and run down to Lock 10. The water level is predicted to be at ~2.7 ft, with a flow of 1,480 fps. It's probably going to get a little boney out there, but we'll make the most of it. This 4-mile run gives us a chance to maybe play a little in the Offutt waves, but we should see some action in yellow falls, and Stubblefield Falls.

Due to the earlier sunsets these days, we will meet in the Lock 10 parking lot at 5:30PM where we will work out the shuttles up to Old Anglers Inn.

PFDs are required for all. Helmets are required for kayakers using spray skirts and highly recommended for all others. Airbags are strongly encouraged for boats without other means of flotation. If you need safety equipment, please advise the trip coordinator in advance. And finally, be prepared for the predicted temperature for that time of day and bring plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.
