Thursday Paddle - GW Canal, Rileys to Pennyfield
About this event
Tim Tilson will coordinate a Rileys-Pennyfield trip using the GW (a.k.a. bypass) Canal. With the canal not watered we will meet at Pennyfield Lock at 1030 to set shuttle. This is a Class II(-) trip. Adequate boat control is required along with appropriate gear for the air and water temperatures. The level is projected to be 3.8’. The high for the day will be 64 with a 8 mph wind from the NE.
