We had 8 paddlers on today’s first regularly scheduled Sunday Trip. In kayaks we had Barb B, Bob B, Bruce C, Diane H, Wayne M and Robin W. In canoes we had Hendrik vO and yours truly. We met at Pennyfield at 1:00 pm to set a shuttle up to Riley’s where the jazz band was jamin’. The level was 2.9. The weather was great, although there was a patter of rain at the takeout. Nothing untoward to report. No carnage to report. No major issues with strainers or debris. Another great day on our favorite river.
