Beth Koller reports:
- The storm last week continued to expose tree roots along Antietam Creek because there was a rapid rise and fall in water levels.
- About 1/3 of the way down the lowest section of the river that starts above the weir and ends in the Potomac, there is a river-wide tree which has a low section in the middle which can be traversed with a running start at a level of 2.77 ft.
- In the lower half of the run, there is a large river left tree which fell in two directions forming a V. The upstream tree section can be skirted on river right. The downstream tree section extends halfway into the river and is easily skirted.
