Wanted

Hey Folks,

My well travelled and much loved 30 year old Perception Kiwi II is in need of some maintenance. She's been a trusty steed over all those years, and I'd like to keep her on the water for another 30.

Anyone have or know of a plastic welder that can mend a hole in the keel of this boat?

As covered in the recently distributed Cruiser newsletter, Calleva--at their newly opened store in Poolesville, Potomac River Supply--is doing kayak repairs. https://potomacriversupply.com. I have no experience with them personally but Calleva as a training organization has had a longtime presence on the paddling scene in this area. A place that does repairs but requires a bit of a drive is Blue Mountain Outfitters in Marysville, PA (just outside Harrisburg); I've had ABS canoe repairs done well there several times. https://bluemountainoutfitters.net.
