Wayne in K1, and open boaters Gary and Ginny Quam ran the lower Antietam Tim Tilson style (no dawdling) on a cool and windy day. We were escorted down the creek by what appeared to a large hawk, and the usual Heron. At 3.5 ft, Furnace rapid was nice and bouncy. Recent rains raised the take out to a class IV slip and slide fest.
