David Cottingham reports (July 10, 2020) that:
Not many people paddle Rock Creek. The typical section starts at Military Road. Within 0.5 miles of Military Road, two trees have recently fallen across the creek. They span almost the entire waterway. NPS rarely removes trees that fall across the creek. I spoke with a fellow at Rock Creek Park who doubted NPs will remove them any time soon.
