CCA Convenes Dec. 4 for Holiday Potluck, Film, Swap Meet, Election

The club's annual holiday party will be Dec. 4, packing a potluck, film viewing, swap meet, and officer election into one festive evening.

Program Chair Ed Gertler says of the evening program, "As we celebrate CCA’s 70th anniversary, what better time to explore our roots. And we are fortunate that a talented film-making CCA member documented the sport as it was in our founding era. The film is titled "Give Us A River." Every paddler should view this. So see you there. Note that this will be screened at Clara Barton, not broadcast on Zoom. Apologies to our distant friends."

Bring a dish to share for the potluck. Bring your gear to swap or sell. And bring your friends and family—all are welcome!

The event is at 6:00 p.m. at Clara Barton Community Center, 7425 MacArthur Boulevard, Cabin John, MD.
