We will return to the George Washington Canal on Sunday 10/25/26. As of Friday morning the Little Falls gauge is 3.15 with a forecasted level of 2.9 on Sunday. Weather forecast is sunny with a high of 66F but upper 50s when we'll start paddling. Water temperature should be about 60F.

We will meet at the takeout at the Pennyfield Lock parking lot at 10:00A to drop off some cars, with a shuttle to the put-in at Riley’s Lock. Please contact Rich Conde at rich.conde@comcast.net or 301-335-0306 if you wish to join the trip.

PFDs are required for all. Helmets are required for kayakers using spray skirts and highly recommended for others. Airbags are strongly encouraged for boats without other means of flotation to prevent pins and simplify boat recovery in the event of a swim. `
