Thursday Paddle - Rappahannock, Remington-Kelly’s Ford
Tim Tilson will coordinate a trip on the Remington-Kelly’s Ford section of the Rappahannock. This is 4.5 mile Class II+ trip. The level is 5.02 as of 5:15 this morning. Canoe max (per Grove) is 5.0. So the level should be around 4.0 tomorrow. The weather is predicted to be 78 and sunny. Meet Tim at Andes Store in Remington at 10:00 a.m. to set the shuttle. Paddlers are reminded they need to arrange their own “shuttle buddy” following CCA rules listed in the Trip Guidelines on the CCA website. The shuttle is 5 miles and so a bit long to do a bike shuttle.
Please let Tim know if you are coming. His email is hmslydia@msn.com or phone at 703-273-9436. Cell phone (only after 0830 Thursday morning) 703-864-0802.
