Virtual Presentation - Anacostia Watershed Society

This evening we turn the spotlight on Washington’s other river, the Anacostia, with a virtual visit by Jim Foster, President, Anacostia Watershed Society.

Jim will speak about a Fishable, Swimmable, and Boatable Anacostia River. We will journey down the Anacostia from Bladensburg and share access points from the Anacostia River Trail designed to share and help improve access. We'll talk about swimmable and some new energy focused on native, freshwater mussels that AWS has been spearheading to restore these worker bees for clean water.

No battling traffic to slog to Clara Barton, so do take advantage of this new-found convenience and join us.

An email with a link to the presentation will be sent to all who register.
