On Thursday Oct. 10, we had 8 kayaks and one open boat for a pleasant fall day on Little Falls. Level was 2.83 and tide was toward the low end. Good surfing, 4 running Beaver Slide, a variety of nice Maryland and Virginia lines at the main drop, some good rolling practice, and no mishaps to report. Paddlers were Mark Brenneman, Barb Brown, Bruce Campbell, Alf Cooley, Karen Egbert, Jon Hitchings, Allison Holliday, Larry Lempert (OC-1, trip coordinator), and Chris Oberlin.
