On a beautiful early fall day 6 paddlers ran the Lower Yough. Present were Gary S., Mark B., Sheila C., Carrie S., and Jenny T. (co-trip leader) in kayaks and one lone canoe captained by Kim B (also co-trip leader). A recent rainfall event brought the previously low summer level of 1.68 feet rocketing up to 2.02 feet. It was a mellow day and everyone had a fine time. There were no incidents. Occasional drifts of yellow leaves, flashing in the sunlight, came floating down to the water.
