Hopeville Canyon, starting at the head of the Canyon. Level - 1000 cfs / 5.81'. Weather - COLD. We saw some snow in the air on our way to Moorefield. It was 40 when we put on around noon and maybe 49 when we took out at 2:30. But it was bright and sunny and the walls of the canyon shielded us from the worst of the wind. Nine of us took the plunge; 7 K1s (Mark, Jenny, John, Ken, Cotton, Miki and Bob) and 2 OC1s (Kim and Doug). All things considered it was a fine day on the water.
